Package Validation

It is the manufacturer’s responsibility to ensure that packaging is tested and validated for use throughout the handling, distribution, and storage environments. The package must be able to withstand the typical events associated with distribution without product defect or loss of sterility.

The DDL package validation process involves four easy steps:

DDL provides pre-testing consultation to outline procedure
Customer submits package samples for testing
DDL performs a variety of tests on the packaging to judge its ability to protect the product and its compliance to ISO standards and ASTM standards.
DDL issues a report detailing test results and corrective actions to be taken (if applicable)
