Join our team as a dedicated Packaging Sales Engineer and have an immediate impact on our continued growth. Sales Engineers focus on expanding our market share by converting prospective clients into new customers by providing solutions to their business needs for package design and/or testing. Business development will be accomplished by maintaining current client relationships, cold calls and database solicitations, direct sales presentations and exceptional customer service. The Packaging Sales Engineer will be responsible for the Western Coast territory with a focus on the medical device and pharmaceutical industries.
Special provisions The new Sales Engineer will begin their employment relationship by spending the first 6 to 12 months in training out of our Minnesota location. The regular site of employment will reside in Fountain Valley, California.
Job Requirements
Candidate qualifications:
BS in packaging or related field or a combination of education and industry experience.
Two years previous sales experience in medical packaging or two years experience as a project manager
Formal sales training preferred.
Proven PC skills required
Strong presentation skills
Strong negotiation skills
Good interpersonal skills
A high energy level and self-motivated
